Robin Brian Schroeder was born on December 9, 1941 to Evelyn and Stanley Schroeder in Chicago, Illinois. He was the younger brother to Donald who was 11 years older and who made it a point to look after his brother throughout their shared lives.
Robin graduated from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin in 1966, an institution he both loved and served. He was President of the Alumni Association, a member of the Board of Trustees, and worked in admissions for the college that “captured his heart.” Including his work for Northland College, Robin devoted his career to admissions and fundraising for colleges and eventually for the Boy Scouts of America. Later in his career, he served as a fundraising consultant to non-profit organizations.
It was through his work in admissions that he met Loranelle “Lonnie” Tuttle. They were married on September 4, 1982 in St. Paul, Minnesota and enjoyed nearly 30 years together.

Robin will be remembered for the way he could light up a room and make a party lively. He was a good friend and in return he had many friends. He loved his family. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved the Chicago Cubs. Most of all, he loved Lonnie and of course Lucky, their dog.
After a long illness, Robin died on July 19, 2012 at the age of 70. He was surrounded by Lonnie, his cousin and dear friends.
