Wilbur Sherwin, age 80, of Morristown, passed away on Thursday, January 19th at the Homestead Hospice in Owatonna. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 23rd at 11:00 am from the Church of St. Dominic’s in Northfield. Burial will take place at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22nd from 2 to 5 pm at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Wilbur is survived by a son; William (Bertha) Sherwin of El Paso, TX, five daughters; Jean Sherwin of Northfield, Brenda (Jeff) Jirik of Faribault, Susan (Brian) Brouwers of Ellendale, Mary Beth (Tim) Bauer of Northfield and Betsy (Rick) Wohlwend of Lakeville; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brother; Edwin (Linda) Sherwin of Montrose, MN, sister; Lois Veek of Kentucky, and a brother in law, Jim Pursifull of St. Peter. He is preceded in death by his wife; Marilyn, his parents, two brothers; Stanley and Norman Sherwin, four sisters; Deanna Hanson, Donna Pursifull, Opal Lemke and Carol Freelove.
