Pamphlet & Asian Stab Binding Workshop

When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.

Details: Participants will make several versions of two bindings, beginning with a single signature pamphlet stitch with a ribbon closure. Riverwalk Market Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.

Where: Bridge Square in Downtown Northfield, 12 Bridge Sq.

Beyond Boxes: Cartonnage Workshop

When: 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013.

Where: Northfield Arts Guild, 304 Division St.

Details: Modern cartonnage grows out of box making and is a long standing French tradition of covering small utility containers with various decorative materials.
