• Northfield Shares announces grant recipients for 2025-26 (southernminn.com) — More than $190,000 in grants are headed to Northfield-area nonprofits, as Northfield Shares announced funding for 32 programs across 20 organizations for 2025–26. The community foundation, supported by 22 charitable funds, is also inviting residents to grow this impact through its online Giving Hub. 
• Scott Wopata: From 0 to 100 (grandrapidsmn.com) — Northfield readers will recognize Scott Wopata as the longtime CAC leader who was just appointed the city’s Community Development Director, even as he pursues elite ultra-distance trail races worldwide. Living in nearby Dundas, Wopata traces his journey from St. Olaf student and Northfield soccer coach to guiding the Community Action Center through COVID and channeling that stress into record-setting trail runs and 100-mile races.
