Other Northfield runners included Joseph Winegardner (3:57:05), 56, Stanley Hup (4:12:01), 57, Noboru Tomonari (4:13:58), 49, and Elizabeth Leer (4:39:13), 43.
Wesley Korir, 29, of Kenya and Louisville, KY, led the men with a time of 2:12:40.

Sharon Cherop, 28, of Kenya took the top female spot with a time of 2:31:50.
No record is available for Brian Cloherty or Todd Orjala, Northfielders who were pre-registered for the marathon.
Reuters reports it was the hottest Boston Marathon in three decades.
Because of the high temperatures on Monday, the Boston Athletic Association issued an email statement on Saturday that offered a deferment to any official runner who would like to postpone his or her participation until 2013.
