UPDATED: Chuck and Don's Pet Food Outlet Leaving Dundas for Northfield

The new store will open April 24.

Though it's only moving a mile north, the Dundas will soon have a new zipcode.

The Dundas location will close at 5 p.m. April 21 and reopen at its new Northfield location on April 24, according to spokesperson Becca Bijoch.

The store will call 1500 Clinton Lane its new home, occupying the space that was formerly used by to Dundas. 

The phone number will be the same, Bijoch said.

Bijoch said the new location is more centralized and provides easier access for shoppers. She said the new store will have the same employees and will have the same product selection.

Chuck and Don's got media attention throughout the state last month when a from their Dundas home and wandered into the store.

The Chuck and Don's move is the second good piece of news for the Highway 3 development this week. Northfield Patch reported on Tuesday that is with and is expanding into 1,200 square feet of vacant space.
