The audition. The interview. The fear of not being cast, of not being hired, is as real today as it was in the ’70’s and ’80’s when A Chorus Line won nine Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. A Chorus Line is set in a vacant Broadway theater where auditions are being held to cast eight dancers for the chorus line of a new musical. It’s a show about opportunity, hope, competition, risk, fear, failure and success. It’s about looking back on the paths of our lives and saying, Kiss today goodbye, The sweetness and the sorrow, Wish me luck, the same to you. But I can’t regret what I did for love, What I did for love.          -A Chorus Line.
