Parents of current fifth graders are invited to an informational meeting on April 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the middle school auditorium. Principal Jeff Pesta, Assistant Principal Greg Gelineau, student support services staff, and other staff members will share information about the transition to sixth grade.

Student Placement:Â The process by which students are placed on 6th grade teams and into courses will be described.Â

WEB Orientation Event:Â A half day student orientation event will take place on August 30. Everything that parents need to know about WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) will be previewed.
Student Responsibilities:Â A quick overview of what to expect during the middle years will be presented: homework, base teachers, lockers and more.

Math Placement:Â A middle school math teacher will review the math curriculum and course pathways.
Miscellaneous:Â Activities, music and co-curricular programs will be highlighted. The student council will have NMS t-shirts available for sale.
Parent Volunteers:Â Our volunteer coordinator will share the process for visiting and volunteering at the middle school.
