MN Commissioner of Health to Speak at League Health Forum in Northfield

Dr. Edward Ehlinger, MN Commissioner of Health will speak at a Health Forum, sponsored by the League of Women Voters on Thursday, April 12th, 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Northfield, MN. Health reform has been in the national news, and now the discussion is coming to Northfield.

The title of Dr. Ehlinger’s talk is “Health Reform in Minnesota: The Realities and Promise.” Dr. Ehlinger will address what the federal Affordable Care Act passed in 2010 will mean to Minnesotans; and could it produce a healthier Minnesota?

Dr. Ehlinger has served for nearly four decades as a physician, administrator, health services researcher and advocate for underserved populations. This is an opportunity to hear how health reform might affect you. The event is free and open to the public.
