Northfield To Host Shredding Event For Residents

The event will take place April 16 from 9 a.m.-noon at the city's Maintenance Facility.

NORTHFIELD, MN — The city of Northfield recently announced a free document shredding event for its residents.

The event will take place April 16 from 9 a.m.-noon at the city's Maintenance Facility, located at 1710 Riverview Drive, according to the city's website.

This will be a drive-thru event and vehicles must be in line by noon in order to be served, the city said.

Only residents can participate in the event-the city said it won't accept documents from businesses.

"This event is part of the City of Northfield’s strategic goal to reduce climate change impact and to make the community more resilient and sustainable," the city said.
