Northfield Looks For City Council Applicants
Applicants must submit an application to the city clerk by 11 a.m. on July 8.
NORTHFIELD, MN — The city of Northfield is looking for applicants to fill a vacancy on City Council.
The term for a city council member in Ward 1 would be July 19 to Dec. 31, the city said.

In order to be appointed, you must:
- Be a resident of Ward 1 in the City of Northfield
- Be qualified to vote in the City of Northfield
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Meets any other qualifications for the office prescribed by law
Applicants will also be asked a series of questions, according to the city.

Applications can be found in the Administration Office of City Hall, at Northfield Public Library or by contacting the city clerk, the city said.
