My Dad and How Awesome He Is!!
Dad, you’ve been through everything,
At times your life is tough,
But even through the hardest moments,
Your love has been enough.
You taught me when I was younger,
All the lessons I should know,
Like who to trust,
And who’s a friend and who’s a foe.
You’re always a strong person,
You help me when I’m off track.
You’re jokes are really funny,
And you’ve always got my back.
You make the best French toast,
And you walk the dog with me,
When others feel your dedication,
An awesome dad they see.
Your faith is like a rock,
It won’t crumble, it won’t shake.
Though life can bring its challenges,
You’re too tough to break.
You play basketball with me,
You’ve taught me some great moves.
I’m trying to teach you how to sing,
And you’re getting pretty smooth.
In the dad category for sure,
You’d be a wiz.
But I’m ever so certain,
You’re the best dad there is!!!!!
