Obituary: Dale E. Pladson, 72

Dale E. Pladson, of Cannon Falls, passed away March 1, 2013, surrounded by family. He was 72 years old.

Pladson was a Teamster (Local 120). He was also a veteran. He served in the US Navy aboard the Bonhomme Richard. 

Pladson is preceded in death by his mother, Inez Pladson and brother, Richard Pladson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; daughters, Debbie Pladson and special friend Les Grinsteinner, Denise (Jeff) Johnson; step-daughter, Peggy (Danny) Grimsley; grandchildren, Ashley (Cory) Wagner, Hilary and special friend Greg Gustafson, Christopher Betzold, Savannah Helweg, Casey Grimsley, and Taylor Grimsley; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Rol (Marion) Pladson, Margie Heitman, Mary Valtierra, Denny Pladson, and Bonnie (Ed) Bennett; also by other relatives and many friends.

He will also be missed by his four legged friend, Tinkerbell.

A funeral service for Pladson will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at White Funeral Home in Lakeville. Visitation is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at White Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will take place at Lakewood Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at the Lakeville VFW.
