Today, May 15, is National Peace Officers Memorial Day. From postal inspectors to small-town sheriffs, Congress has dedicated the week of May 15 to honoring America's law enforcement officers, especially those killed in the line of duty, each year.Â

- They were right on to the burglaries last week. They do need our help finding the 'druggies' in the community. We could commit to helping them and not hiding the fact they are here. Just sayin'...
- I think of all the hours they put into managing the crowds at DJJD and am grateful. But I also appreciate their work in the schools and just the daily patrolling they do with business checks and investigations. Thank you, officers and dispatchers.

- Well, I think its the same all over, there are good cops and there are bad cops. Most of them that I have talked to here are o.k., they come into my work and are friendly. However there are some stuck up ones and think they are better than everyone else. Remember people, they are human, just like us don't be intimidated by them. Nobodys perfect!
