A severe thunderstorm that rolled through the Northfield area late Wednesday night has created some cleanup for some homeowners.

Northfield Police responded to eight calls for road hazards following last night's storm and a power line was brought down in the storm in Dundas. Emergency officials also responded to a home in Lonsdale that was struck by lightning.
