Riverside Park Pickleball Courts To Close Monday For Construction
The courts are expected to re-open mid-June.
NORTHFIELD, MN — The pickleball courts at Riverside Park will close Monday for construction, the city of Northfield said.
The courts are expected to re-open mid-June, according to the city.
Crews will be replacing the courts with a new sub-base, pavement and surfacing, the city said. The courts' final surface coating will be completed in Spring 2023, according to the city.

According to USA Pickleball, the sport combines elements from tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played with a paddle and plastic ball with holes, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.
