Martha’s Eats and Treats Pastries

Saturday is the last chance this Riverwalk season to get Martha Schuetzle’s locally renowned sweet and savory pastries on Bridge Square. And if you miss your Saturday Martha’s pastry fix, remember her new shop in Dundas is now open Fridays and Saturdays year round. Aside from her baked-to-perfection scones, quiche, rolls and croissants, Schuetzle wants her patrons to know that she strives to use regional ingredients whenever she can, including vegetables and herbs from her garden, Valley View Dairy products and North Dakota Mill flour, which is unbleached and contains no bromates. “Everything I make is entirely from scratch; I use no artificial color or flavoring,” Schuetzle says.  https://www.facebook.com/MarthasEatsTreats

Cornucopia Mural Youth Activity

Continuing the tradition of Riverwalk Market Fair’s closing youth activity, kids are invited to paint a fall harvest cornucopia mural. Stop by and add your artist’s flair to the group project.

Celtic and Traditional Folk Music by Wake Robin

Music at Saturday’s Riverwalk will be by Wake Robin, the Northfield based duo of Brad Easterson on fiddle and Captain John Hanson on banjo and guitar. Their specialty is traditional instrumental folk music, with an emphasis on Celtic and American Civil War songs. John and Brad have been making music together as Wake Robin for seven years, and can often be heard in Northfield’s coffee shops and pubs.
