Scene in Northfield: Downtown in Bloom

Downtown looks ... brighter.

And with good reason.

The has placed hanging baskets back to their rightful places overlooking Division Street (and the surrounding area) and the Northfield Garden Club is in the midst of its continual effort of beautifying the city.

But it's not just the city and NGC making an imprint on the downtown's beauty. Businesses like , and have done their part in brightening up the city's sidewalks.

It's been an odd planting season so far with a mild winter, early heat, a drought, massive rain and all sorts of challenges.
