Summer Berry Picking: Where To Go In Northfield

EAGAN, MN — Whether you're making a pie or some homemade jam, nothing beats freshly-picked berries.

Luckily for Northfield residents, there is a berry picking farm in town.

Little Hill Berry Farm is located at 4339 320th St W in Northfield. According to its website, it opens for blueberry picking in early July and is open until late August.

On days it is open, berry picking is typically from 7-11 a.m., it said. Though the days it will be open are not yet on the website, the farm said you can call 507-301-7183 or check the website to see if it is open on the day you wish to go.

Picking blueberries is $5.75 per pound, the website said. The blueberries are also certified organic, according to the farm.

Pre-picked berries are also available for purchase on the farm's website or in the farm's store, the farm said.
