Oakdale Resident Asks Questions, Bachmann Answers
Rep. Michele Bachmann will answer constituents' questions through her new video series: "Michele's Corner."
Rep. Michele Bachmann of the Congressional Sixth District announced a new initiative called “Michele’s Corner,” a video series where she responds to constituent mail in a series of videos.
Each week during the month of August, Bachmann will release new videos featuring her response to additional constituent questions.
The first video in the series features a question from an Oakdale resident named Kurt, who asks why "everything seems to be swept under the carpet" regarding Operation Fast and Furious, Attorney General Eric H. Holder and Solyndra.

- Operation Fast and Furious was an operation by the Dept. of Justice that put a couple thousand guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartel. This resulted in the deaths of Mexican citizens and a U.S. Border Patrol Agent.
- Solyndra is a company that received more than $500 million in loans from the federal government and then went bankrupt. Controversy arose when it was discovered that one of the company's lead private investors was also one of President Obama's chief donars during his campaign.
“My offices receives hundreds of messages from constituents across the Sixth District each month. I always appreciate hearing from the people of Central Minnesota, and I am honored to have the opportunity to respond to their questions and concerns by video,” said Bachmann. “I hope this will encourage more people to reach out to my offices.”
