• County Board approves five year Capital Improvement Plan (cottagegrovejournal.news) — Washington County has approved its 2026 property tax levy, budget, and a five-year capital improvement plan that will shape road, park, and facility projects affecting Oakdale and neighboring cities. The plan funds major transportation work, park upgrades, human services, and environmental programs, while keeping the county’s tax rate among the lowest in the metro. Oakdale leaders also weighed in during the public comment process.
