'Dog Gone Reading' at the Washington County Library-Oakdale

Children can read to therapy dogs Monday and Tuesday.

Children in kindergarten through seventh grade can practice reading aloud to a certified therapy dog and its owner/trainer at the Oakdale Library 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. and Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.

Reading sessions are 15 minutes in length, according to the Washington County Library website.
