Oakdale Farmers Market on for Wednesday

The market runs from 3-7 p.m. in the parking lot of City Hall.

Despite the Fourth of July holiday on Thursday, the Oakdale Farmers Market will go on as planned Wednesday, July 3.

The market runs from 3-7 p.m. each Wednesday through Oct. 2 in the parking lot of City Hall, 1584 Hadley Ave. N.

Meanwhile, Oakdale’s Fourth of July celebration will feature vendors and live music in addition to fireworks.

The event will be held at Richard Walton Park, at the corner of 15th Street and Hadley Avenue.

Most vendors will open at 4 p.m., and the Rockin’ Hollywoods are set to play at the bandshell from 7-10 p.m.

Fireworks will follow the music.

The concert is free, as is parking.
