Woodbury Leadership Academy (WLA) is a tuition-free, K-12 public charter school where high expectations and success matter to all! Get ready to head to Walton Park. Oakdale will be hosting its Fourth of July celebration in Walton Park at 15th Street and Hadley Avenue for the second year in a row. Food vendors will fill the park while the Rockin' Hollywoods perform in the bandshell from 7-10 p.m. The fireworks show will immediately follow the concert. The <a href="http://www.northernlighters.org/index.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Northern Lighter Pyrotechnics</a> will provide fireworks to the city again this year. NLP is a non-profit group that seeks to promote "safety, skill and artistry" in pyrotechnics. The city is paying the group up to for the 25-minute display, according to a staff report.  The Independence Day event is free.
