Oakdale's D Spot Restaurant Among 'Best Wings' In The Area: Poll
The poll was conducted by 92 KQRS. The D Spot wing sauce comes in seven different levels of spiciness, including the hottest: Death Row.

OAKDALE, MN βAn Oakdale restaurant has been voted as one of the region's finest in 92 KQRS' "Best of the Twin Cities" poll of its listeners.
The D Spot, located at 7129 10th Street North, was a finalist in the "Best Wings Spot" category. Serum's Good Time Emporium in Anoka was voted the best in the category, while the other finalists were: Runyon's in Minneapolis, Ray J's American Grill in Woodbury and The Monte Carlo in Minneapolis.
According to its website, the D Spot features wings with seven different levels of spiciness: P.H:D, Savory, Sweet, Spicy, Haunted, Scorpion's Lair and Death Row. The menu lists 74 different sauce flavors, including: "The Widow Maker," "Naked Turtle," "Voo :Doo" and "Devil's Paradise."

There also are burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches and fries, plus a children's menu.
"We use only the highest quality products and all our sauces are made from scratch. Our food is cooked and made to order, and certain to satisfy each and every taste bud," chef Darin Koch is quoted as saying on the restaurant's website.

92 KQRS' "Best of the Twin Cities" also ranks restaurants in categories like: "Best Burger Joint," "Best Ice Cream Shop," and "Best Pizza Place," in addition to having categories like: "Best Record Store," "Best Music Venue" and "Best Sports Team."
"Everyone seems to have a list of the best people, places and things in Minnesota β¦ and now so do we!" KQRS said in a statement. "It's KQ's 'Best of the Twin Cities.' All the important arguments settled once and for all."
