Free Entertainment: Summer Concert Series, Farmer's Market Continue
The summer concert series runs through Sept. 5 and the Farmer's Market runs through Oct. 10.

If you're looking for some free entertainment in the city, then check out Walton Park for the city's summer concert series and Farmer's Market.
Both kicked off their events on June 13. The summer concert series runs through Sept. 5 and the Farmer's Market runs through Oct. 10.

Farmer's Market vendors sell goods — from vegetables and vitamins to jewelry and flowers — from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays. Following the Farmer's Market is a free concert at the Walton bandshell. The concert series is sponsored by the Oakdale Parks and Recreation Department and Lake Elmo Bank.

- Aug. 8 Dirty Shorts Brass Band, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
