But first, schools in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District are hosting back-to-school events in August and September. 

Castle Elementary

• Open House: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 30
• Kindergarten Round Up on Sept. 4

Eagle Point Elementary

• Meet Your Teacher: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 30

Oakdale Elementary

• Open House: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 28

Skyview Elementary

• Open House: 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 29
• Kindergarten Parent Information Meeting: 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 29
• First Grade Parent Information Meeting: 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 6
• Second Grade Parent Information Meeting: 5 p.m. on Sept. 6
• Third Grade Parent Information Meeting: 6 p.m. on Sept. 6
• Fourth Grade Parent Information Meeting: 5 p.m. on Aug. 29
• Fifth Grade Parent Information Meeting: 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 29

Skyview Middle School

• Open House: 2-7 p.m. on Aug. 28

Tartan High

• Schedule Pick-Up and Class Photos: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 16
• Schedule Pick-Up and Class Photos: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 20
• Ninth Grade Parent Orientation: 6 p.m. on Aug. 28

Early Childhood Family Education

• Open House: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the Gladstone Center, 1945 Manton Street in Maplewood.
• Open House: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 29 at the Beaver Lake Center, 1060 Sterling Street North in Maplewood.
