'Along For the Ride' With the Plymouth Police Department

Summertime is filled with fun in the sun and time to enjoy the great outdoors in Minnesota.

But it can also be a time for potential risks, especially for children.

To learn about water safety, drowning prevention, what to do if you are in a car crash and alcohol and tobacco enforcement check out this Plymouth Police Department video called "Along For the Ride."

Plymouth Officer Angela Haseman and Community Relations Officer Jim Long host the approximately 30-minute show.

For in-person safety education, don't forget about the city's Night to Unite party 2:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the parking lot of the Plymouth Creek Center on 34th Avenue North. There will be a helicopter visit, a SWAT team and K-9 demonstrations and more.
