The Plymouth-New Hope Little League's Fall Ball program is a six-week season of non-competitive games focused purely on the skill development of the kids. The rules of this program are designed to provide players with the opportunity to learn several positions especially pitching and catching.
Rotating kids at every position is mandatory in Fall Ball as this is a time to build the depth of PNHLL talent. Players who are planning on transitioning divisions next spring get a great opportunity to experience the next level in a non-competitive environment. (For example, Rookies going into Minors next year should play Minors in Fall Ball). There is a Rookie, Minor, Major and Junior division.
Practices are held twice per week, but we recognize that kids are involved in other sports and activities this time of year. Thus, attendance at practices is encouraged, but not mandatory. Playing time is not affected if occasional practices are missed.
