More than a dozen Plymouth Runners at Tragic 2013 Boston Marathon

The explosion took place about three hours after the winners crossed the finish line. It’s not clear yet what happened or who was injured. Boston Police, via Twitter, announced at least two people had died as of 3:15 p.m. CDT. 

According to race records, 18 people from the city of Plymouth ran in the event, which took place on a brilliant, sun-soaked day in Boston.

Sixteen finished the race.
