Four Free Concerts This Week in Plymouth

Looking for some free, family-friendly fun outdoors this week in Plymouth? Here's a few ideas.

With possibly warmer weather on the way, time to enjoy more fun in the sun with free events this week in Plymouth.

The city of Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department's Entertainment in the Parks series continues in August with the following concerts this week:    

At 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 check out the Rum River Brass at Hilde Small Stage on Plymouth Blvd. The quintet plays a variety of music including jazz, classical, ragtime, pop, Dixieland and more.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, check out guitarist, singer and songwriter Steve Blexrud on the Parkers Lake Stage off County Road 6. He performs roots/rock, folk and blues.

At 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, enjoy the Kid’s Koncert of Miss Catherine on the Parkers Lake Stage off County Road 6. Both educational and fun, Miss Catherine amuses youth while teaching basic life principles of sharing, caring and respect for all.

And at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, enjoy the Porch Pickers performing at the Hilde Amphitheater on Plymouth Blvd. Enjoy the sounds of Bluegrass, country, and gospel with this fun group.
