Medical Device Developer Relocates Headquarters to Plymouth

Holaria, formerly Innovative Pulmonary Solutions, announced the relocation in conjunction with financing plans.

Along with an announcement of the completion of a $10 million financing milestone, Washington-based Innovative Pulmonary Solutions announced a company name change and a move of its headquarters to Plymouth, Minn.

The new headquarters opened the weekend of Feb. 9 at 3750 Annapolis Lane North in Plymouth for Holaria, formerly Innovative Pulmonary Solutions. Founded in 2008, privately held company develops medical devices to treat obstructive lung diseases.

“Minnesota was chosen because it's a great environment for a medical device company. There are tremendous resources and a wealth of talent in the area with relevant core experience,” Holaira, Inc. representative Lorraine Marshall Wright wrote in an email to Patch. “In addition, our CEO, Dr. Dennis Wahr, has led two other successful medical device companies in the area - Lutonix and Velocimed.”

Holaria currently has 20 employees at its Plymouth location.

“The relocation of the company, along with our new corporate identity, sets the stage for the next level of product development and our future clinical trials,” Dr. Wahr said.
