'Paint the Pavement 5K' This Weekend in Plymouth

The annual “Paint the Pavement 5K” run/walk will be 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Hilde Performance Center on Plymouth Blvd. in Plymouth.

Participants will pass checkpoints during the race, at which they may collaborate on a group canvas painting and create their own artwork on the trail. The just-for-fun race will begin and end at the Hilde Amphitheater and is open to runners and walkers.

Cost to register is $20 per person. Children ages 9 and younger will be admitted at no cost. You can register online or on race-day beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Hilde Performance Center. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 763-509-5200.
