The historic former municipal building on Fernbrook Lane also offers regular museum hours, rotating exhibits, research materials, and a timeline of the city’s history for residents to explore.

• Youth softball association treasurer stole $110K, withdrew from casino ATMs: Charges (fox9.com) — Plymouth families involved with the Plymouth Wayzata Youth Softball Association are learning that its former treasurer is charged with felony theft by swindle after more than $110,000 allegedly went missing over several years. Charges say Plymouth police investigated after suspicious withdrawals and falsified financial reports surfaced, including casino ATM transactions tied to the association’s bank account.
   

• 2 Minnesotans win $1 million on New Year's Day (kare11.com) — A Minnesota Millionaire Raffle ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Plymouth, making one local player among five big secondary winners statewide. Two other Minnesotans hit the $1 million top prize, and 20,000 winning numbers were drawn overall, so residents who bought tickets may want to double-check their numbers.
