Public Urination, Shooting Murder, Check Forgery: Police Blotter
The Richfield Public Safety Department releases its most recent crime reports.

All the following information was taken from the Richfield Public Safety Department’s crime reports from June 10, 2013, detailing incidents from June 6-8.
June 6
- Police responded to a suspicious activity call on the 7400 block of 17th Avenue. Two juveniles were located there; one was cited for driving after license suspension and the other was arrested for possession of narcotics.
- Police took a fraud report in which the victim was swindled out of $2,012 after corresponding with a person at the number 937-462-0411.
- A victim reported that sometime between 11 p.m. June 5 and 2 p.m. June 6, an unknown person moved a garbage can under the kitchen window of a residence on the 7600 block of 16th Avenue and cut the window screen. No entry was gained to the residence.
- A victim reported that three checks had been stolen from his checkbook and two were forged at various locations.
- Police took a report of a delayed first degree criminal sexual conduct incident that occurred on the 6400 block of Lyndale Avenue.
- A vehicle was reported stolen from the 6600 block of 11th Avenue.
- Police responded to a report of a domestic assault on the 6400 block of Knox Avenue.
- A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 6300 block of Richfield Parkway.
June 7

- An adult male was arrested on the 6500 block of Penn Avenue for urinating in public.
- Police responded to a property damage report on the 7500 block of Pleasant Avenue. Four juveniles were seen damaging the windows, however, none of them were located.
- A victim reported that her ex-husband had burglarized her apartment on the 700 block of 77th Street East. She also stated he violated an order of protection.
- A 46-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for third-degree DWI.
June 8
- Police responded to a welfare check for an intoxicated male near 66th Street East and Portland Avenue. The party was transported to Fairview Southdale and cited with indecent exposure.
- A 25-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for third-degree DWI.
- A 24-year-old Richfield man was arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
- Police responded to a disturbance on the 900 block of 78th Street East. An adult male was arrested for making terroristic threats.
- Police responded to the 6900 block of 16th Avenue on a report of a gun shot victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two adult males were arrested.
