Richfield Natives Graduate College, Score Academic Honors

Students reach success in college.

The following Richfield natives have found success at the collegiate academic level:

  • Tyler Lowthian, a sophomore majoring in business management from, was recognized for achievement with the Presidents Volunteer Service Award, Regal Spirit Award, and Outstanding Theater Student Award at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
  • Derek Schramm graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in early May. Schramm received a Bachelor of Science in business administration degree from the College of Business Administration.
  • Natalie Dmytrenko was among nearly 900 St. Olaf College students who were recognized for academic achievement at the college's annual Honors Day convocation in May. Honors Day recognizes students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Dmytrenko is an Asian studies and political science major.
  • Lisa Miller graduated from Concordia University-St. Paul May 10.
  • Theodore Weidenbach graduated from Concordia University-St. Paul May 10.
  • Joshua Nelson graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
  • Benjamin Huss was named to the  Marquette University Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester.
Other news:
  • Evan Larson was inducted into the Luther College chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa national academic honor society at a ceremony in April.
