More Than 68,000 Residents Facing Hunger in Rochester Area as Donation Match Begins (y105fm.com) — More than 68,000 people in the greater Rochester area, including over 20,000 children, are currently facing hunger, and local food shelves are sending families home with less food than a year ago. Channel One Regional Food Bank is warning of a worsening holiday-season crisis and highlighting a Think Bank donation match that can double residents’ contributions to help neighbors in need. 
2. Winter got you trapped? Enjoy the great indoors and the Elevate Wellness Medallion Hunt in downtown Rochester (postbulletin.com) — If winter weather is keeping you inside, the Elevate Wellness Medallion Hunt offers a free, fully indoor adventure through downtown Rochester’s skyways and subways. After registering online, participants follow a map to find 14 medallions, earn points by scanning QR codes, and can score free admission to the Rochester Art Center. Along the way, you’ll explore murals, museums, and other hidden downtown gems.
3. Rochester Residents Step Up to Help Second Street Joe (krocnews.com) — Rochester residents are rallying around “Second Street Joe,” the longtime flag-waving fixture near Saint Marys Hospital, by contributing to a holiday GoFundMe that helps cover his basic needs. After personal tragedy led him to start waving flags on Memorial Day to honor his late father, Joe has become a cherished local symbol of positivity at parades, festivals, and along Second Street.
4. Rochester family asks for help in search for missing Golden Retriever (kttc.com) — A Rochester family is urgently asking neighbors to help find their 3‑year‑old Golden Retriever, Max, missing since November 28 from southeast Rochester. Community volunteers have already been searching, and the family is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who has Max or can share solid information about where he is.
