This Father’s Day will seem sadly and strangely different to me.
My dad-Roger Carlson, 88- passed away in early April after several years of poor health.
Dad had pressed on through so many ailments, including congestive heart failure, that I thought he might just keep on going forever.

I will remember many good times with Dad, particularly summer family vacations. I will always cherish those days he played catch with me or took me see the Minnesota Twins at the old Met Stadium.
I learned from Dad many things including the importance of honesty, hard work and doing your best.
