A Resource in Roseville: The Breast Cancer Awareness Association
The organization was founded in 2001 by Ann Harris and Lois Joseph who are breast cancer survivors.

As Minnesota observes Breast Cancer Awareness month, did you know that a significant resource on this subject is based in Roseville?
The Breast Cancer Awareness Association has its offices in Roseville, at 1027 W. Roselawn Ave.Â
Ann Harris and Lois Joseph, two women who are breast cancer survivors, founded the organization in 2001. Harris was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 39 while Joseph was diagnosed with the disease at age 55, according to the association's web site.
The BCAA asserts it is "the only organization in Minnesota whose sole purpose is to educate and support individuals, families and friends living with breast cancer." Earlier this month, the group held its 11th annual "Living With Breast Cancer Educational Conference."
For further information go to the group's web site or contact Ann Kvaa at 651-487-3578.
