Borders Bookstore in Roseville Faces Closing

Expected shuttering part of anticipated nation-wide liquidation,

Borders’ Roseville store at the Rosedale Center is one of three remaining stores in the Twin Cities and one of nearly 400 across the country that is scheduled to soon close.

Borders Group Inc. has announced that it will close all remaining 399 bookstores nationwide, according to Patch in Sunset Hills-Crestwood California. A pair of firms is set to buy the Group, only to liquidate what's left of the Ann Arbor, MI,-based chain.

A manager at Borders' Rosedale store declined comment and referred Patch to a company spokeswoman, who could not be reached for comment.
