Brief: Roseville High School Team Competing in Regional Science Bowl

A team from Roseville High School is competing today (Friday) at the Minnesota Regional Science Bowl.

Roseville students competing are William Thomas (11), Jingyang Dong (11), Joonil Oh (11), and Gabe Smith (12).  Coach of the team is math teacher Jane Aguilar.

The Science Bowl is being held at Macalester College in St. Paul. "here are 32 teams registered this year with 216 students and coaches participating," Aguilar said. "Twenty different schools from across the state will be represented."

The first place team will receive a school trophy, individual medals and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Science Bowl.  The second and third place teams will receive individual medals.
