Destination XL Makes It Official

Destination XL, a growing national merchant of big and tall men's apparel, is now officially part of the Roseville retail community: Company officials held a grand opening Wednesday evening.

Representatives from the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce participated with store officials in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Steve Carolan, Roseville Destination XL manager, said the store made a special outreach to its online customers to come and see the new quarters,  although the event was also open to the public.

The men's merchant, a part of Massachusetts-based Casual Male Retail Group Inc., is located at Rosedale Commons, a retail center just north of Rosedale Center. It launched a soft opening in mid-August. Its address is 2480 Fairview Ave. N.

The arrival of Destination XL is among several new players appearing at Rosedale Commons, which has gotten a facelift in the last year. Among its new tenants are  Old Navy and
