Filing Period Opens Today for Roseville School Board

Filings open today (Tuesday) for three seats on the Roseville District 623 School Board. 
The terms of Board members Kitty Gogins, Bill Majerus  and Mona Langston are expiring at the end of this year and these members are up for election.
Contacted by Roseville Patch, Gogins said she is planning to seek re-election. Patch has not been able to reach Langston or Majerus yet.  
The filing period closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13.  The School Board general election is scheduled for Nov. 5 this year. 
To be a candidate for the District 623 you need to file an affidavit of candidacy with the Ramsey County Elections Office.
