Free Thursday Night Concert at Roseville Central Park: The St. Peter Street Stompers
The outdoor concert will feature Dixieland jazz.

Come on down for some Dixieland swing and jazz when The St. Peter Street Stompers band performs a free concert at 7 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 1) at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre at Roseville's Central Park, 2540 Lexington Ave. N.Â
The outdoor concert starts at 7 p.m. It's the latest in the Parks and Recreation's summer music series.Â
Meanwhile, here are a couple other things happening in Roseville:
Open House at Roseville New Horizon Academy
The New Horizon Academy in Roseville ( 3050 Center Pointe)  will hold a fall open house starting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 1).
"Parents and their children will have the opportunity to  tour the facilities and classrooms, meet the teachers and staff and learn more about New Horizon Academy’s early education and child development programs," according to Academy officials.Â
Accredited by the National Association for the education of Young Children, New Horizon Academy offers full-time and part-time schedules for infants through school-age children.

Roseville Parks and Recreation Department's free puppet wagon shows are being held on Thursdays in the summer (through Aug. 8)Â at these times and parks:
 9:30 a.m.- Owasso Hills at Owasso Hills Dr. and Highcourt Rd.

10:30 a.m.-Evergreen Park at Fairview and County Road B
11:30 a.m.-Lauderdale Park at Roselawn and Fulham St. in Lauderdale
Puppet shows are also being held at various other parks on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
