Hearts & Hammers, a Roseville-based nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring and maintaining safe, livable homes for those in need, is proud to announce it has received a $5,000 grant from the Roseville Area Community Foundation. The grant will support critical exterior home repairs and improvements for low-income seniors, U.S. military veterans, and individuals with disabilities living in Roseville.

The organization is actively seeking Roseville homeowners in need of assistance. If you or someone you know could benefit from free exterior home repairs, you can apply directly at: heartsandhammers.org/homeowners

Founded in 1997, Hearts & Hammers has been serving homeowners across Minnesota for nearly three decades. While the organization now operates across the seven-county Twin Cities metro, in Warroad, MN, and even as far away as Dallas, Texas, its roots remain firmly planted in Roseville.

“Although our reach has grown, it’s deeply important to us that we continue investing in the community we call home,” said Trey Wodele, Executive Director of Hearts & Hammers. “We’re honored to receive this support from the Roseville Area Community Foundation and grateful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors—especially those most vulnerable—right here in our backyard.”

Hearts & Hammers provides free exterior home improvements, including painting, siding repair, porch and stair restoration, landscaping, and accessibility modifications such as handrail installation and ramp construction. All work is completed by volunteer teams, often in partnership with local businesses, community groups, and corporate sponsors.
