Letter To The Editor: A Roseville Thank You on Steak Fry Fundraiser

To The Editor,

On behalf of the Roseville Area Senior Program (RASP), Roseville Area Schools, we extend our thanks to the community members who attended and made donations to support the First Annual Steak Fry Dinner to benefit RASP’s Meals on Wheels service. This event was held on Oct. 16 at the Roseville Anderson Nelson VFW 7555.

Thank you to all who helped make this event a success! Four hundred and forty eight dinners were served. A special thanks to the volunteers who assisted us, as this event could not have been accomplished without your help.

Due to federal funding losses, RASP has had to find additional ways to help fund our Meals on Wheels service for older adults living in the Roseville area. Our goal is to continue providing nutritious, hot, daily meals with a safety check to homebound older adults and disabled people living in our community. The success of the Steak Fry Dinner will help us in reaching this goal.
