Finney and his wife Lois have run their New Brighton clinic since 1997—although Finney first launched his practice North Minneapolis in 1986—serving residents in New Brighton, Fridley, and Roseville. They specialize in all manner of dentistry, from run-of-the-mill cleaning to tooth whitening and “one-visit” crowns.

Finney first got into dentistry in college, eventually earning his degree from the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry.

“I wanted to be a health care professional and was impressed with how much dentistry impacts overall health,” he told Patch.

The Finneys say they also place a premium on a good customer experience. Mark Finney follows up with his patients after dental treatments to see how they’re doing, and Lois is in charge of baking those cookies—but don’t look for one until after your visit is over.
