Memorial Day Observance at Roselawn Cemetery
Former NASA astronaut scheduled to speak.

Members of the combined color guard from Rosetown American Legion Post 542 and Roseville VFW Post 7555 will participate in the 30th annual Memorial Day observance at Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the “Soldiers’ Rest” area at the cemetery, 803 W. Larpenteur Ave. The program schedule includes the North Suburban Chorus singing patriotic songs and former NASA astronaut Duane “Digger” Carey a keynote speech.
Upwards of 500 people attend the annual Memorial Day celebration, said Michele Lind, manager of Roselawn Cemetery.

Besides the Memorial Day observance, Roselawn Cemetery will also have its historical chapel open Saturday, Sunday and Monday for visitation.
The cemetery will also host organ concerts at 11 a.m. Saturday, noon on Sunday and 11 a.m. on Monday.
