None Reported Hurt in School Bus-Car Accident

Incident occurred near Roseville Area Middle School.

No one was hurt when a car struck a school bus taking students home from Roseville Area Middle School  Wednesday afternoon, according to news reports.

Karen Schaub, spokeswoman for Roseville District 623, said the bus had just left the school and was traveling behind another school bus when a car hit it around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

"It was minor accident," Schaub told Roseville Patch.  She described  the incident as a "fender bender. No students were hurt and we got the kids home."

Schaub ssaid she believed the accident occurred when one school bus made a right turn on to Demont Avenue from Rice Street and a second bus following behind it got clipped by the car.

"I'm guessing the (car) driver didn't see the second  bus," Schaub said.

“The Ramsey County sheriff’s office says neither driver was arrested,”  the Associated Press said.
