Open House Tonight For Memory Care Patients and Their Caregivers

Event set for J. Arthur's Memory Cafe.

An open house for J. Arthur’s Memory Café, 2441 Rice St. in Roseville, is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday).

The Memory Café is a place "where individuals with memory loss and their caregivers can get together in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment,” according to Lori La Bey, founder of Alzheimer’s Speaks and Caregiver Campus. “It’s time and place where people can connect and interact with peers, without feeling like misfits.“

The Memory Cafe at J. Arthur’s Coffee Club “ is an an opportunity for individuals with early onset dementia and their caregivers and families to come and enjoy a time of fellowship with others in your peer group.”  La Bey said.
